SONY ILX-LR1 uses a full-frame backlit image sensor with approximately 61 million effective pixels. Image quality with high quality, low noise and wide dynamic range enables detection of fine cracks and scratches during inspection, mapping, etc.
The new BIONZ XR™ image processor
The SONY ILX-LR1’s advanced BIONZXR” image processor delivers approximately eight times more performance than its predecessor. It reduces processing latency while enhancing video and still image processing for superior image quality and fast camera response.

A dedicated SDK that integrates with custom applications
The Sony Camera Remote SDK allows users to remotely control the menus and other functions of the ILX-LR1 through their own software applications. By integrating apis into the system, the SONY ILX-LR1 camera can be controlled remotely from the computer, allowing changes to camera Settings, shutter release, real-time view monitoring, and more. Using the Sony Camera Remote SDK, a user’s application can link a unique image ID to drone location data in post-processing.
Get a live preview
Through the GetLiveViewlmage APl or LiveView Display Effect function, you can remotely obtain the real-time image of the SONY ILX-LR1 camera, and you can directly monitor it on the host display.
Remote parameter adjustment
Through the Remote Control mode of the Camera Remote SDK, it provides rich API interfaces and functions, and users can remotely obtain SONY ILX-LR1 camera parameters and adjust them in real time, such as aperture, shutter, ISO, etc.
File transfer and management
Through the Content Transfer mode of the Camera Remote SDK, the image file information in the memory card of the SONY ILX-LR1 camera can be remotely read on the host and transferred to the host.
Controllable focus position
With the Focus Position feature of the Camera Remote SDK, you can retrieve the current focus position and adjust the focus to any desired location for highly reproducible and stable shooting.
