The FCB-EV9520L Weight-Reduced Version is a lightweight camera module secondarily developed by Ruiloog Electronic — an officially authorized distributor of Sony (China) and a professional high-definition video secondary development solution provider. Based on the original Sony FCB-EV9520L, it retains core performance while reducing overall weight, specially designed for load-sensitive scenarios such as drones, small pan-tilts, and handheld devices. Ⅰ. Why Launch the Weight-Reduced Version? The original Sony FCB-EV9520L camera module weighs 239g, which is relatively heavy among Sony integrated camera modules. This weight brings limitations in many application scenarios. For drone mounting, robot visual navigation, handheld devices, small pan-tilts, portable inspection equipment and other environments with strict weight restrictions, the standard original model often fails to meet application requirements. Ⅱ. Weight Reduction Solution Ruiloog Electronic redesigned the original metal housing of Sony FCB-EV9520L into a customized aluminum alloy housing. The weight is successfully reduced from the original 239g to approximately 165g, making the camera module more suitable for applications with high lightweight requirements. The weight-reduced version still adopts the original core components of Sony FCB-EV9520L, including the image sensor, lens, and image processing circuit.
